60 Second Proof Of Concepts
Does your FileMaker solution have a case of the blahs? Are you out of inspiration? Are you looking for something new to spice up your workflow? Look no further.
60 Second Proof Of Concepts is a video series meant for one thing – to share proof with the rest of the community that some specific thing can be done using FileMaker. #60SPOC is open to all- If you have a proof of concept and you can explain it in 60 seconds or less, send me the video and I’ll add it to the 60SPOC playlist.
#60SPOC videos are like TikTok for FileMaker developers. Videos should be:
- No more than 60 seconds long
- On a single topic not available in the FileMaker documentation
- Proof that a concept can be achieved, not a tutorial on how to code it
- Watermarked with your company or software’s logo (use kapwing)
- Posted to YouTube or sent to me to post to YouTube (e.g. archive)
- Open to comment, like or dislike
- Tagged with 60SPOC and/or #60SPOC on YouTube
- Cross-posted to your company’s Twitter account with the hashtag
Some uses for #60SPOC:
- Quickly identify available, qualified subcontractors for your solution
- Encourage isolated developers to keep writing new code
- Quickly show off what we’re working on with the community
- Create a homegrown presence for FileMaker on Twitter, YouTube
- Evangelize for the whole FileMaker workplace innovation platform
- Create healthy competition for the most liked #60SPOC video
- Inspire developers to challenge themselves and expand their skill set
- Introduce new ideas to help others break out of their own work ruts
- Create a discussion of “how would I do that” in the video comments
